AIM handles move-out cleaning for two kinds of spaces. Commercial spaces: offices, suites, and storefronts being returned at the end of a lease. Residential units: apartments and condos being turned over for a property manager, an association, or an owner. The work is the same idea in both cases. We clean top to bottom, inside and out of everything left behind, so the space is ready to show. We serve buildings across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire from our office in North Andover.

Frequently asked questions
Do you do move-out cleaning for businesses and for residential units?
Yes, both. We clean commercial spaces at the end of a lease, and apartments and condo units being turned over for property managers, associations, and owners.
When should the move-out cleaning be scheduled?
After everything has been moved out and before the final walkthrough. An empty space is faster and more thorough to clean. Book as soon as you know your dates, especially at the end of the month, when move-outs cluster.
What does "broom clean" mean in a commercial lease?
It generally means the space is empty of belongings and debris and the floors are swept. Many leases ask for more than that, so check the surrender clause in your lease. We'll clean to whatever standard it describes.
Does a move-out cleaning help get a security deposit back?
It can help. In Massachusetts, landlords must return a residential deposit within 30 days after the tenancy ends, minus allowed deductions such as damage beyond reasonable wear and tear. New Hampshire has a similar 30-day rule (RSA 540-A:7). Cleaning can't fix damage, but it removes dirt and debris as a reason for dispute.
Can you clean the carpet as part of the move-out?
Yes. Carpet shampooing is a common add-on, since empty rooms are the easiest time to do it.
